Heath tableware is made from clay bodies that Edith Heath developed over the past half-century to be the finest and most durable stoneware available. The shapes and many of the glazes are classic Edith Heath designs that have been in production for decades, several pieces of which are in the collection of the MOMA. All Heathware is hand-crafted and hand-glazed by our skilled craftsmen. Heath Ceramics still hand crafts their artistry in the original Sausalito factory. The color combinations are fun and endless.
Heath will become a permanent part of our new accessory gallery we have known as "Textures and Objects" or T&O. An original idea by Alexander Girard for a shop in the fifties for Herman Miller was called "Textiles and Objects". We are thrilled that Herman Miller has given us their stamp of approval to use the initials T&O.
